My Reason for Joining

As a republican, I almost felt like a hypocrite for even wearing the bracelet my brother Enrique gave me. However, I feel l am now going to be an instrument in helping people of my party to recognize all people as equal to one another. I am a minority as a biracial individual. I have a responsibility as a minority and as a mother to promote equality for ALL fellow minority groups. It is only when we teach one another tolerance of ALL groups that we can hope for true peace and equality for each other.
