We just shipped our 1000th wristband.
Each and every wristband is hand labeled and packed into the envelopes most of you have received. So far, the careful processing of doing this type of order handling by hand has been an experience that I never really thought about. I see the states the wristbands are going to, imagine the hands they're about to fall into, and see the pairs, and sets of four going to people's homes, the packages of hundreds going to community centers... and a smile sits on my face with every individually wrapped band I pick up, put into an envelope and seal.
It's a constant realization that in a little white band, there is a voice, on 1,000 wrists there is a message - all speaking the words of unity, and the fight for rights for all. There are 1,000 messages out there speaking out against hate and discrimination... All I can say is I can't wait to post this again for the next 1,000 marker, or 10,000 marker.
It's a great feeling. I'm glad that those of you that have your wristbands are sharing our voice in this fight. Prevalence is imminent.
